Delicious! Mediterranean, Iraqi-style food cooked to absolute perfection and served by kind, attentive staff. This place is a gem. Their portions are super generous (an entree can probably feed two!) and their quality is off the charts. Salad was fresh, soups were hot and tasty, and the falafel and chicken kabob were incredible. Must-go if looking for a place to eat in Skokie.

Mr. Falafel serves up amazing shawarma! The meat is juicy and tasty, with spices that make it really delicious. The veggies and sauce add a nice touch. The place feels cozy, and the staff is friendly and quick. If you want yummy shawarma in a comfy spot, Mr. Falafel is a great choice!

Most importantly, the food is DELICIOUS. It's been more than 20 years since I spent a summer in Jordan, but Mr Falafel brought me back - right down to the soccer game playing on one wall. I also want to mention that when our order was slightly messed up, the owner went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make things right. This is one of the few non-chain options in this area, and the commitment to serving freshly cooked food that he takes deep pride in is what separates Mr Falafel from his neighbors.
